Absolute optimisation of the available space and intelligent redistribution. Almudena and Pepe commissioned us to redistribute and decorate a duplex penthouse in a new-build in Barcelona’s Clot neighbourhood. The building was designed by Ferrater: white predominated, contrasted with the dark grey iron of railings, lattices and enclosures, and it was very well located in the old quarter of the district. Our work consisted of redesigning the layout to suit the family’s needs, organising it so the works could run alongside the building’s construction, choosing the finishes, layout and materials for the bathrooms and kitchen, and decorating it completely, in a direct dialogue between avant-garde aesthetics and thermal efficiency.
