This duplex is located in the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district of Barcelona, in a quiet yet well-connected area. The 260 m² property, plus garden, had everything it needed, but required an update to allow the family to live more comfortably and in keeping with their current lifestyle. The project was a challenge because the house had a very good foundation and is located on a very beautiful estate, so the aim was to maintain and highlight the structural and decorative elements of that architecture while also fitting in a fairly radical change in its layout. The entire team embraced the project with great enthusiasm and completely renovated the first floor, which now includes three large bedrooms and a laundry area. These bedrooms also feature several separate spaces for bathrooms, a study area, and a dressing room, allowing for privacy within a well-connected home. On the lower floor, the interior design was updated, preserving the main pieces but reupholstering and restoring them. The entire color palette, textures, and paint on the walls and ceilings were also updated, as was the lighting. The resulting design is in keeping with the rest of the renovated home, which exudes elegance, comfort, and tranquility.
